Refractory Metals

Refractory metals are especially resistant metals and feature a high melting point, i.e. they are heat resistant or especially corrosion resistant. Hence components of these metals are used in high temperature facilities for heating elements, in the field of chemical process engineering for high corrosion resistant components and in the field of electronic engineering for switching contacts.

Many of the refractory metals can be supplied in the typical semi-finished shapes such as foils, sheets, strips, rods, wires, tubes or as crude metal as for example powder, granulate or pellets. Special dimensions and versions are possible as well, especially parts ready for installation according to drawings.

The products are manufactured according to the ASTM-standards and can be delivered including an analysis certificate and with inspection certificates according to EN 10204.
